SMG Electrical was engaged to deliver the complete electrical fit-out for Haven — a landmark commercial development at 2 Activa Way, Hope Island QLD, comprising 34 premium studio spaces and 16 storage units. Boasting high-end finishes, bold landscaping, and round-the-clock security, Haven provides the perfect environment to grow and flourish. SMG's scope of works included the design and installation of individual switchboards and metering for all 50 tenancies, complete internal electrical wiring for each studio and storage unit, installation of LED high bay lighting throughout all warehouse and storage areas, feature LED strip lighting and downlights in mezzanine and amenity spaces, external wall-mounted architectural lighting and garden spike lighting throughout the common areas and courtyards, air conditioning rough-in for all air-conditioned mezzanine levels, CCTV power infrastructure supporting 24/7 surveillance across the entire development and all final connections, testing, and commissioning in accordance with AS/NZS 3000. The development offers allocated parking, flexible zoning, up to 3.9M clearance under the mezzanine, exclusive use courtyards, dedicated loading zones, and convenient access to local amenities. SMG delivered the project to the highest standard, ensuring all electrical systems met the requirements of the building certifier, energy retailer, and the developer's premium specification.
